For some reason, whenever I clear my history the history clears but there are still some addresses left in my address bar. They pop up as suggestions when i start typing a website even though I haven't visited some of these websites for months. They just won't go away. How do I get rid of them?

I've recently formatted my computer and installed Kaspersky AV and Comodo firewall. I can connect to the Internet but after some time, the connection is lost (I can't view any websites) and opening the Network Connections from Control Panel shows a small padlock at the top right corner of the icon - (I would send a link for a screenshot but I can't upload images anymore!)

When this happens, I have to restart the computer before I can use the Internet. I doubt this is something to do with KAV and I don't know if this is a firewall issue but I have never experienced this problem before when I was using Sygate, ZoneAlarm or Windows Firewall.

When I run a bandwidth speed test on speedtest.net or internetfrog.com, data will not upload (downloading works) and I can't upload images on imageshack or add attachments to e-mail.

I'm starting a web site that will include research & commentary on a particular industry, as well as a forum and links to news items of interest. Right now I have a $6.95 hosting plan that includes 350GB storage and 3500 GB/month bandwidth. I have no idea how much traffic this site will get and whether my current plan will be adequate. If I have Google ads on the site, will I always be able to cover my hosting expenses? Are there web hosts that allow you to scale up to a higher plan or a dedicated server, rather than charging for excess traffic? Out of curiosity, how much do you think ultra-popular sites like drudgereport.com or perezhilton.com spend on hosting?

It happens randomly and I run ccleaner, adaware, AVG scan every morning and McAfee. I have firewalls also. Why does this happen and how can I stop it? Once it starts, the only way to stop it is to shut down the computer from the back (hard shutdown).

Can you prevent anyone else from using your server to connect to the internet. I have a new Broadband server and equipment in the post to me and i am aiming to use my laptop WIFI and the Desktop via cable.... Is the WIFI Secure ? What do i have to do ?

I have both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, and I can't connect to the internet. For IE it says it's waiting for the page but then it can't connect, and Firefox just never loads anything. I'm connected on a different program right now, and I want to get on using Firefox because it has some options I need to use right now that this program doesn't. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It is www.walgreens.com, a drug store website. I download digital pics to their photo processing web site.

When accessing, using my office computer, it always says the server is down. At first I thought I was just catching the web site during periods of site upgradings, but I soon found that it never links to this website. Is there some setting I should change on my office computer?

Everytime I go on Internet Explorer, I can't see any images. It was not always like that, it just started a few days ago. like if i go on google, I can't see the image of the words google, but i can see everything else. How Do I Get More Traffic For My Blog? How do I go about contacting blog owners for a link exchange? Do I place a link to their blog first on my blog and then ask them for a reciprocal link? Are their any decent blog communities? I think I have done the basics, but need to learn more.
