Why do people ask stupid question on where to download something they know the name to????
I just had to vent, I know some people don't know about google, ask etc.

Some people are too lazy. It's easier for someone lese to google it for them lol

Seems that a search engine is the last place some people think of looking at...if I lost access to my search engine preferences I'd probably go into withdrawal, I use them to research for my writing and pretty well everything I need to know the answer to.
Sort of boggles the mind that some people are missing out on a huge resource...but then, perhaps they are just asking the questions to see if others know the answers and they've actually already researched it and are just curious if anyone else will do the same ;)

AOL used to hold most them in a special AOL barrier that kept them at the shallow end of the internet... in AOL's special internet spot... you know the AOL chat rooms, et cetera.
... But now since AOL and their dial up kingdom are kind of slowing down and dying you get people on the internet that are just learning basics, they just swim out to the deep end of the internet since there isn't an AOL life guard.
Sorry for the corny analogy above; I don't think any real harm will come from people asking very basic questions... if any place on the web, here is a good place to do it.
However, I do reccomend using download.com, tucows.com, and other RELIABLE download spots that check for malware rather than just googling the heck out of everything.
Avoid P2P and Torrents unless you know what you're doing, that's my advice. You wouldn't take candy from a stranger would you?

Think a lot of people might just like the interaction of Yahoo Answers. You would need to be from another planet not to know Google.

i know, but i don't google. i work as a part time, P.I. and i have to find things all the time in places you would never think to look and i don't google unless i have to. use your head and just type in your thoughts. bound to come up with something.

You know what? I tried using google once, and I asked about photos, and avatars. They came up with, "did you mean POT,FOR AVIATORS"?

everyone knows about google. a new born knows about google., no but seriously. if someone doesn't know about google, they should'nt be allowed on the internet.

especially like: (what's george bush's first name?), or (does anyone want a tic-tac?), or (what should i type into the url box to get to http://www.google.com?)
