Go to internet explorer >>> Tools >>> Programs Tab and click on the button that says "tell me if Internet Explorer is my default browser"

Start Internet Explorer. On the menu bar > Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab > under Default Web browser, click [Make Default] > [O.K.].

Usually when you have two browsers, when you open one of them, a question pops up asking you if you want to make the current browser your default browser. Just check the box and click the yes button.

open IE and open the options in the programs tab it should say tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default browser and select it. You may need to restart IE and it would ask you and click on it and there you go

but it's simple
fire up IE
it will ask if it you want it as the default browser
clik on yes
and that's it
however
be prepared for your system to get infected
