i am just wondering if i could get connected out and about or if i have to go to a hotspot.
and how i find out where hotspots are and how to get connected. (i have orange broadband)

i never used ebay and i just signed up.. now i have 2 accounts.... one for ebay the id and the other is paypal, i dont get that either, what happens if i bid and won on my ebay id?? i dont get anything please explain to me with baby steps if you dont mind... thanks

I found a website once that people could list everything that wanted to do in their lifetimes and now I can't find it. To make your own list you could copy someone else's or start a new one. Does anyone know what the site is? It is driving me crazy!

I`m trying to open a new window whilst browsing, but the website simply does not lad at all. It goes blank.

I have two domains with One & One web hosting services, i use these reguarly for an eshop(at work), and have not had time to go back and do some work on my personal site i am developing, when i went today, and signed in, it doesnt let me edit the website at all, is it inactive as i have not logged in for about 1-2 months?
I really need to do some work on it, please help me! btw i have a MS Home hosting pack on there.

I currently have Charter Communications Cable Modem with a 5Mbps service & pay $60 a month. However they suck & 50% of the time it doesn't work & at all and 25% of the time it does work, my max speed is 400Kbps. They have yet to be able to get my internet working right & everyone in my area complains about the same problem. DSL is not offered in my area yet, through anyone. High speed satelitte is available but for like $150 a month. Dial up modem is just too old & too slow. I need something to wear it goes atleast 1Mbps at all times & is connected 24/7. Is there any solution to get that, without spending more money than I'm already spending? I refuse to continue paying Charter $60 a month for internet that half the time doesn't work at all & half of the time when it does work, I can't even get 1/10th of the speed I pay for & where my upload speed is actually faster than download speed. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE HERE ON WHAT TO DO.

I prefer to use Opera and Firefox. I used to like Netscape as well, but have drifted away from it. I find them all fairly useful, but as I share a computer, I like to leave others to use Internet Explorer. BTW I love tabbed browsing which I have only discovered this year.

I wanted a chemistry book for school. I bought it on ebay and the description said hardcover which should mean that it is the US edition with online access. But i got the international edition which is paperback and doesnt have online access. What can i do?

My neighbor has a computer problem and I can't figure out how to help him. Usually, I can find a way to fix just about any hardware problem or internet connectivity problem but this one has me stumped. Everytime he loads a website in IE the page loads but nothing appears in the browser. It says, "done" at the bottom and "unknown zone" but regardless of what page he loads, nothing appears in the browser. He has a strong signal and is definitely connecting to the internet. This one has me stumped.

The top of my screen with the addresses and search section are missing until I put the cursor up to the top of the page. It's nice to see the entire page, but I wish they would warn us when they are making such drastic changes.

without using bresnan security or any program that will mess with my computer? And that any 1 on my computer can't get on any page or even close to it. I told my friends they can't go on myspace and they go there after so long of time has past. I don't want my computer to even know what myspace is. What can i use that will work all the time and they can't get around it.

I'm at a family friend's house and they have a totally unprotected wireless internet. (It's a Linksys router, not sure which model.) My macbook picks up the signal, and even connects to it showing various signal strength (So it isn't stale.) But won't actually do anything regarding the internet (MSN, Safari etc.) The people who live here have 2 laptops, both of them PC's and they both work fine on the wireless. I tried resetting the router a couple of times but it made no difference. Like i said the internet is unprotected completly, my mac will find it and connect but wont load any internet related programs. Anyone know what to do? I'm stuck. (I also ran the network diagnostics program thing on my mac but that didnt help either)
