hi, My mother lives in Virgina and she cannot get high speed internet (cable or DSL) in her area. Is there a way ( know there is satellite but from what I hear it is expensive and it's only high speed one way..) to get high speed internet without paying an arm and a leg instead of using dial up? Thank you!!

Google currently censors a lot of searches in China, but they also filter out results in the US. For instance, they remove torrent sites (basically sites that link to movies, music, etc that you can download, see torrentspy.com for an example).

On google earth, when zooming in i can get good clear pictures pretty close up in some places particularly in the UK and some cities eg, new york, but i cant get a clear close up of other places around the world. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to do something to make it better? please help.

I'm pretty new on ebay and I just bought a sidekick 3. Its been 3 days and I still haven't heard anything. I dont know if my item has been shipped or not and I'm getting a little worried. Shoul d I? Just had Talk Talk broadband installed today 3 or 4 days after the go live date, they never sent our wireless modem out despite the countless different stories we recieved from their call centres then, they sent us a diifferent letter as if we'd just started!
We had to go down to the carphone warehouse to see what the story was, also on our mail most of our address was missing!
Is this what to expect from most broadband companies, or is it just talk talk?

I can go on live chat msn on another computer but just not my home one. Why? I do have an account that works but every time i try, it just comes up with "we were unable to sign you in to net.messanger, possibly there was a problem with your internet connection. Please make sure you are connected to the internet." However there is nothing wrong with my internet or my account and i do have a net.passport thing. How can i make it work? You know when you copy a link from YouTube and put it on your own site or something, you can have it displayed in 2 ways: 1 way is just to see the link itself, and then you can click on it, go to youtube and see the video like that....but there is also a 2nd way of doing it which is to like see the video there...its like already there on your page, just in "pause" mode and all you have to do is click in the middle of the video to start to get it to load and play.

So i was just wondering does anyone know how the 2nd method works....am i supposed to copy a special kind of link or enter it in a specific place in the programming code...or?

For me, it was a old, fat, rich guy in his underware, lying on a marble floor in front of a marble fireplace. Young women were standing on TOP of the fireplace and jumping down onto his stomach.

Ok so first off, I play runescape a lot so I can talk to my friendz, and its xtreemly frustrating when the website won't work when i need to tell my friendz somethin. The problem is that the website shows a white page similar to the 'this page can not be displayed' only it says, 'action cancelled.' my computer has done this with myspace, runescape, and my email. It sometimes helps to restart my computer or reboot the internet, but it hasnt been helping lately. Does anyone know how to help me get the website working again??

I made iGoogle my home page, and ever since then it is slow to come up. REAL slow! Computer is newer, and I have no problems with anything else. Even the iGoogle mail is fine, notification is fine etc. All but the home page.
Thanks for any tips/help. At this point it does not seem worth the effort.
