Since you were making this to learn web developement, and not really design it's pretty good. As far as design goes... their really isn't much there.
The gradiant background is the first thing I don't really like. It is just too dark once you get to the top of the page. It would probably be best just to go with a solid color. The next thing is that the buttons are really bulky. Try to stay away from the 3d buttons. Lastly, all you really have in your content is text on a single solid color dark-gray background. Add some style and colors surrounding your content titles, and maybe give some creative placement of color to distinguish and emphasize your content.
