Ok so first off, I play runescape a lot so I can talk to my friendz, and its xtreemly frustrating when the website won't work when i need to tell my friendz somethin. The problem is that the website shows a white page similar to the 'this page can not be displayed' only it says, 'action cancelled.' my computer has done this with myspace, runescape, and my email. It sometimes helps to restart my computer or reboot the internet, but it hasnt been helping lately. Does anyone know how to help me get the website working again??

Your probably on dial up which has this problem whenever your trying to download or open too many pages at one time. If your playing you probably only want to have runescape open in order to prevent lagg. Myspace is also particularly bad about crashing a dial up connection because of all the flashy graphics and sounds that try to load at the same time.

Simple stuff to do. Try not to run a lot of programs on your computer, and keep the total webpages to a minimum. If you have lots of extra files in your comp that you dont need, get rid of them. Download Ad-Aware and scan your computer (download.com). If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, and in browsing history, delete all. There could be something screwing up your connections. If that don't work, you might want to have your computer and internet connection checked.

addiction level, and can get you sitting on it for hours on end.
