Using Yahoo or Google.The results appear OK but when I click on a result I end up at a site which offers more choices. (often sex related sites). What have I done to my system for this to happen?. Up until a week ago it all worked fine. Security and virus checks(Norton)show no problems.
It's embarrassing because my wife and I were looking for a crossword answer and when I clicked on a site about ornithology ,up came a sex site.

I have a Dell Desktop at home & don't have a house phone. Isn't there some type of wireless internet connection device that I can purchase so I can go online. If you know of one please tell me how much it cost & where you purchased it.

Please how can I get rid of unopened e.mails. I have had them 'blocked' (if that is the right expression), but they just go to my deleted items, I have tried sending them to junk, but still they keep coming. Can I not stop them altogether, they seem to be 'joke' sites, and I get about 5 every day. Hope you guys can help.

I have DSL and most of the time it works pretty well but 2-3 times a day I lose my connection. We live in a fairly rural area and dsl just became available about 6 months ago and I've had this problem since we got it. My question is, is this normal for dsl or do we have some settings wrong, should I call the ISP? When it happens I have to turn off the modem and the computer and then restart and it will work. It's very annoying and if I can make it stop doing this I would be much happier. Any ideas?

Can't remember opting for those for me unnecessary toolbars blocking out my full screen view, but I must have done so. Now it sticks and search for removal offers program downloads. There must be a simpler way. Thanks.
