The Internet ARchives has been brought to the attention of the Jusitice Department. They are shrouding copies of other people's web sites under their domain name. They are making available to the public material that ONCE was made a vailable to the public but now has often been retracted for a number of reasons - all of which are the business and right of the copyright holder. We do not see how Yahoo can participate IN GOOD CONSCIENCE with these people who are abusing the access the internet provides and hurting, stealing from, millions. Just because walmart puts things within your reach doesn't mean you have the right to take them home without paying for them. THE SAME RULE APPLIES TO THE INTERNET and the Internet Archive is stealing. We will continue to try to stop them and arrest the activities of all who work with them. We won't quit until our intellectual property is protected. Yahoo, you are warned. (shame on you.. this prevents us from being able to support your search engine)

From what I've read, the vast majority of these questions can be answered with a quick web search or by using Wikipedia. Also, the answers are rarely of any real insight. What really bugs me is when Yahoo! puts these things right next to real news stories without any way of telling the difference between them until you've already clicked the link.

Sometimes I strongly feel that some players are able to control dice in Yahoo backgammon. They can get 7-8 double in one single match and whenever I get a double I am unable to move because I am hit! Is cheating possible?

This question is unrelated to the "Clear History" within Tools--Internet Options. This is directly related to typing in the search bar and having my computer generate various options that have been search before.

My daughter has been trying to log onto the internet, but keeps getting an error messages, that says "network cable unplugged". She has assured me that she has the ethernet plug in the correct place, but still can't get on the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can help her? She is a way at college and I can't actually see what she is doing.

Hello,

I'm using Windows 98 (I know, I know...) and I recently tried to install some software for an MP3 player which failed - but now, for some reason, Internet Explorer 'flickers' every time I type, or hold my mouse arrow over a link - it's ridiculous, not to mention annoying. Problem is, I don't know what was/has been installed that's made IE go nuts. Don't really want to do a software reinstall - I was wondering if there was a good/free diagnostic scan I could use to check for probs (I've tried WinDoc etc., to no avail).

All decent suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

Shouldn't a good question that inspires discussion receive more points than useless answers? Is it more about an exchange of information or "points"?
