I got a old imac at thrift store.
Someone used this computer before. when I turnd on, they asked me passward. but I dont have any password.I dont have any optional CDs,,
what should I do?

is there any part of internet options that you can tweak with to get a better broadband connection,as i can remember reading a article in pcadvisor about pc..tweaking and it was mentioned about increasing a port number? or something like that
i find that if i delete temp internet files twice a day you keep i\e on top form,i worked this out when i did,nt delete them for 2 weeks and the internet ran at snails pace
i have heard of a disc called onspeed which can speed up broadband x3,but how does the disc work,you pay £25 for it,and get a years onspeed,is that right?

I know that I can choose who can read and see things that I post at a personal page or blog,but I've heard that,once you put something online,this can be found by anyone who knows how to properly search.Is this true? How? What can I do to protect my privacy?

I'm most concerned about pictures,since I'd like to share some of myself,my family and the place where I live,but only with a few close friends.I also worry about personal information and about my writings.What should I do?

For some reason, I can not get mpg files to play in mozilla. I have the latest version of firefox but everytime I click on a movie, it prompts me to download it, but instead I want it to play in the browser window. If anyone can help let me know

I have been looking at joining file sharing, Limewire, 24/7 Downloads etc but I dont know how they work. Once I download the software is everything in my PC then open to all or can I choose which files I wish to share. Music files I am more than willing to share, but I feel uncomfortable with the idea that someone could get into my photos and videos, as well as most of my word documents. Which of the file sharing downloads would you recommend. Thanks.

Is there anything that I can do to see if she is cheating on me? I drive semi (OTR) so I am only home on weekends. Now I am leaving for 2 weeks for the military. When I come home I see that she has been using the web cam to take provocative pictures. I found the pictures and she said that she was just playing around. Yeah..with who? ok i know i asked a question like this already but the answers didn't quite help. i just got a web cam and i wan't to use it with my friend on AIM. my friend doesn't have a web cam but is there a way that my friend can still see me and i just wont be able to see my friend? my friend and i only have AIM so is it posible to do it on that? if it is, please tell me how. thanks.
