For some reason, I can not get mpg files to play in mozilla. I have the latest version of firefox but everytime I click on a movie, it prompts me to download it, but instead I want it to play in the browser window. If anyone can help let me know

go to tools>options then select the "downloads" tab at the top.
At the bottom of the dialogue there will be a button for "download actions" You can view & edit the actions. Find the file type you wan to change and set windows media player to play the movie. I don’t think that you can get it to play directly into the browser window unless the webpage that you are viewing has it embedded into the document.

Right click on the link and use the "save file as" and save it and then you can play it on your hard drive. If its asking you to download it, its because of the way it was embedded on the webpage. I dont think you have control over that. YOu should just use the "open" if you just want to open it instead of save it.
