The Brontok virus come every 3, 6, 9, 12 o'clock. This virus came from Internet. This virus can go to other computer with pendrive. The virus can make computer speed slow and Internet speed too.
It saved in my picture but if I delete it, it come again. And don't have any idea to clear this virus. This virus maybe froom indonesia. Maybe some pro Indonesian people can help me or a pro virus clear.

Here's one thing I wonder... they've had "disk defragmentation" programs in pretty much since Windows 3.1 (if not earlier), so did Microsoft get off their lazy asses and code Vista so it didn't FRAGMENT THE FRIGGIN' DRIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Or do you still have to run a defrag regularly?

I was using Linksy wireless to get my internet connection and it's hooked up to another computer in the house, and then I downloaded windows defender and it said that my computer had to be automatically restarted. And after my computer turned back on My connection was no longer there, it had signal and all that but it wasn't connected....so i hit repair and it said that windows could not renew my ip address. So I've been getting frustrated, it won't let me release and renew my IP address myself (everytime I go to run it says that another program is already using that file), and I tried turning my firewall off, and unpluging stuff and nothing has worked...so I went to properties and manually put in my IP address since it said it couldnt find it(and now it says I am connected again) but it is asking for my DNS server address so I can get on the internet. Was it the right thing for me to manually type in my IP address, since it couldn't find it for me? What should I do....

When I turned on the pc, the monitor goes on, I can hear the cpu go activate itself. But after the Windows XP logo turns off, it starts booting up again. Anyone with any idea what went wrong with this? My anti-virus is updated, my scanware, adware are also updated and enabled. But my pc won't kick in. It just turns black after the logo leaves the monitor. I'm not very well versed with technical terms but what's wrong with my pc? It was running fine last night when I closed it.
