the window says i should try to delete and compress files but it says lowdisk space on the hard drive D
hard drive c: free space - 160 GB total size- 178 GB
hard drive d: free - 4.38 MB total size- 8.00 Gb

yet when i do a check up, it says there are no current issues. i have no viruses; i have good spyware and virus protection, etc. If i bypass the message, my system runs fine.

the warning message reads: 'the disk monitoring system has detected that drive 0 on the primary EIDE controller is operating outside normal specifications... back up your data and replace your hard disk drive...' then, it gives me an option to continue, or run the set up utility.

is this a dire problem? is there any way i can easily correct it? how do i back up my data? is this necessary? (forgive me. i am a real spazz when it comes to this technical stuff. talk REEEAAL low tech to me!)

i think this might be the result of a software update or download that was interrupted while downloading. i think the next time i used the computer, the message appeared.

Do I have to unplug everything from the Tower before reinstalling Windows XPSP2? Someone save me from this ordeal..how do I stop hibernation?(unchecking 'enable' in Power Scheme, Power Options did not stop it).There has to be a command that will fix this....please Tell me what to do! Thanks.

Im using my laptop and randmoly it will start backspacing the words ive typed. sometiems if im not typng itll go back to the first page i opened IE to like the backspace is stuck or something. when i press the buttons "insert" and "backspace" a few times it goes away for a little while. Any ideas? SOS

I have to be on the computer a lot due to my job. When I go home at night I get these splitting headaches. I am sure this is because I am on the computer a lot. Every day I am not on the computer too much I don't get them. Popping Advil every day seems to work, but I am afraid of long term effects. Any advice would be appreciated.
