I'm taking Web Design and I need to know how to insert an image onto a webpage. right now we're just working with notepad. what's the tab and what do you put after it to take an image from, say piant and get it on the webpage when you save it as an html?

We want to limit access to websites and limit the time the computer is available (power). We don't want to block specific websites, just all sites that contain pornography and violence. Is there any software that can do this without us having to add specific websites to block?

my floppy is broken, and ive looked at the recordable cd's, looks like they are only for music??? are there discs to save documents on? otherwise what is this usb that i can save on, where would i get one, and how much do they cost?

I just got firefox yesturday on my computer because my internet explorer isnt working. When i first got it, it was faster then internet explorer but today its really slow and it wont let me click links to send messages, log in etc. I think its because i have fire wall but im not sure. what i think it is that my fire wall is restricting to many things on firefox how to change the restriction on my firewall if that is the case! I need an answer to why my mozilla fire fox is so slow it cant be because of my computers ram because yesturday it was going fast (1 second and a page open but know its 5 min). Can anyone also tell me what is proxy and how do i make less restriction on a perticular software (firefox).

I have a 25 GB hard drive, and there's only 1 GB of free space left. I've got a utility called Folder Size which shows the size of folders in Windows "detail" view, but at the top level of my C: drive the folders only seem to contain about 4 GB. I'm wondering where this other 20 or so GB could be hiding.

I just downloaded this junk, and after I restarted my computer, my home page worked, and I could click a link on it, but when I tried to do a search, no go. When I tried to go to any other site, no go. I tried to click on one of my favorites, no go. The only way I could go to any other site would be when I changed my home page, and closed and restarted IE. I tried to use my other browser, but that stopped working too. I had to do a system restore because of this. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, why in the world would they release this junk???
