I don't get it. I thought that you were suppose to ask questions on this to get points. How come they toke away 5 points when I asked a question?

It COST you 5 points to ASK a question. You GET 3 for answering.

Because Yahoo Answers charges you 5 credits for asking questions.. when you pick a best answer to your question you'll get 3 points back.

You're essentially "spending" points to ask a question, and you're getting "paid" points to answer a question. Just the way the whole thing works.

no you ANSWER questions to get points. asking them loses 5, but if a best answer is chosen you get 3 back. its a bit silly i know, but strangely addictive.

answering gets you 2 points.

no,answer questions then you'll get 2 points,ask a question you'll lose 5 points,i don't know why they do that either
