I am currently doing applications support for desktops throughout our company's network for end users and am uncertain as to what I would like to do later.
All I know is I am not a fan of becoming a network engineer (cisco stuff). But would like to administrate a database or develope it at some point in my career.

What is recomended for me??

Ok, you've taken your snap; your happy with it and have saved it to its own little folder.

But when you go to use it on one of these wonderously easy to use trading sites, it tells you the pic has to be less than 500 kb.

How do you reduce the pic size?

Compaq Presario V6030 AMD Turion 64 X 2 Dual Core TL-50

Toshiba Satellite A100-SK8 15.4" Intel Centrino Duo T2400 1.83GHz Laptop

These are the 3 laptops I am looking at buying, Dell looks good, but can I get service for it in Asia?

Toshiba looks good to, but I don't know if they service in the Philippines, I know it is not the best place for service, unless you are in Manila.

As for Compaq, I know it is owned by HP, but again how reliable is it in the Philippines. Too many options on laptops, so I would appreciate anyone who has owned one of the above laptops, and their experience with the service departments, also which one is most solid, I know Dell had to recall batteries made by Sony. Also, is there anyway to find out my FSB speed, I have tried without any luck, also AMD seems to have a high FSB speed, how important is it in regards to total operating.

everytime I go on computer and the desktop opens and I wait for everything to load I get yahoo messenger come on at right hand of screen and have to click in box to clear it off. I,ve got the icon already on the desktop so only want to click on that if I want to go into it any suggestions please.

I recieve about 25 messages a day saying "message could not be sent, User unknown" etc... I have contacted my provider, only to not get a reply. I have run AVG, Avast!, Zone Alarm, Panda, Stop Sign, and Mcafee antivirus and they say I am clean. I have turned my computer off for a week and still recieve messages that I suposingly sent (while the computer is off??)

My next actions are:

Change my email address and re-install Windows XP...

I want to buy a Dell notebook and I wanted to finance this using a Dell credit card. I applied for one on the website yesterday and was told that there had been an error and that I should try again later, use a different payment method, or contact a representative. I decided to try again later. I tried today and got the same "error" message.

Have I been rejected for the card and they're just trying to be polite in some way or is it really, truly an error?

I wasn't sure what number to call for Dell to ask them, so I thought maybe someone else would know. I just checked my credit report from Equifax and I have no black marks. I always make payments by the deadlines on cards I do have so as far as I know, I have good credit. The only thing that might negatively affect the application is that I am a 19 year old student (but I don't have any educational loans).

I use Firefox so I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it if it is an actual error, but I don't trust IE...

I already know a little bit about HTML, and I'm looking to design a web page for the Unreal Tournament GOTY clan that I'm in. Now, I've done a page already and I think it doesn't look too bad - http://www.clanrsa.info/rsaautumncup/index.htm - and from this I know it can be improved. I'm looking to learn CSS and PHP as well so that the site can be used in more ways that one - and I'm looking for any tips and tricks that people have to offer. The things is, when it comes to CSS and PHP I don't honestly know where to start. Can anybody give me the best information as to where to look, and from this can anybody give me some really good pointers as to how to improve the site as a whole?

If so, it would be much appreciated, folks. :D

I can not get into my email or a business site as well as online banking. However I can other pw sites. I can also get into my email on my daughter's pc. I have no idea how to fix this. I have lowered the security and ran nortons stuff - thinking registry problem. I use IE but also have tried to access with fire fox and still to no avail I cant get in.

when I try to open an email with an attachment, sometimes I can't . Sometimes it will say run, save or cancel. I can open these. But sometimes I will get one that only says save or cancel . It is these that I cannot open. I have clicked save, thinking that saving it to a folder will allow me to then open the folder so that I can view the email, but that doesn't work either. I miss so much fun stuff because of this problem. I am not real computer literate. I'm still learning. HELP ME SOMEONE, PLEASE! I hope i'm posting this in the right place.
