i use mcafee antispyware up to 5 times a day to get rid of them, and they keep coming back. i delete them completely, but the same ones come back. where do i get these from? and how can i get rid of them for good??

Whenever I upload pics my browser freezes and when I open up taskmgr I see that EXPLORER.EXE is at 100%. The only way to make it normal again is to reboot. This only happens when I open a picture file and when I upload pictures. Any idea on how to fix this, as it is VERY annoying!

So I reformated my PC and loaded windows XP Pro SP2. The computer was cleaned of all the files with complete reformat. The system is a Pentium 3 with about 35 gigabytes of available hard drive capacity (after installing all the programs), and the RAM is 256 mb with the speed being 933mhz.

Now I have a big movie collection. Before formatting I played these movies (DIVX, AVI, AC3..common formats) they played fine. Mind yuo I already installed the codecs.

Ok now when I play the movie there is a very slight lag, also when I try to do a full screen playback it doesnt work. This was not the case before formatting. That time all the movies played fine.

So what I am wondering is what might I have not done after refomatting the computer that is giving me this slight drag on the movie playback?

We have NT Authentication turned on for certain directories on our IIS server. Normally, it passes the users domain credentials transparently. Occassionally, it prompts the user for his credentials for no apparent reason. Anyone know why this would happen occassionally? It happens with different users at different times.

I have to wonder how much more it is costing me in trying to cool my home, while at the same time my computer is generating heat. Does anyone make a venting system that would make it possible to bring in filter outside air to cycle through the computer, than dump the exhaust back outside? Has anyone ever tried to measure the amount of air being moved through a standard CPU and heated up? I would suspect it is significant and should be considered in trying to keep a home, or business, cool.

Each time we log OFF the internet, a "send error report" pops up stating that "internet explorer encountered a problem..." We ran all kinds of scans, one scan found 7, we cleared those up, but this box still appears each time. Any ideas? Thanks.
