if you often download files or visit untrusted/reliable sites then you'll get a lot of spywares and adwares. What you can do is to try to download a good anti spyware. An example would be windows defender (free) download.microsoft.com .

Its not mostly porn at all, it can be any site, and macafee is crap

I would suggest you get a free spyware remover such as windows defender or spybot, tutorials for both can be found here, also a good idea would be to run hijack this.

if you also post the names of the specific spywares that are on your system then i can give you more specific info.

Check for spyware. Run both Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.

firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

going to too many flakey websites (aka porn). Might want to check what startup programs are loading when you boot up computer. Microsoft's program Windows Defender can help with that.
