I'm designing a photography portfolio for someone that has little to no computer experience. They want to be able to change the pictures on the pages and in the gallery once I'm done designing the page. What format (html, php, etc.) should I use that would allow them to merely upload a picture and it does the rest?

I am using XP Pro o/s, having 256 MB RAM (DDR2 PC2-3200) with Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz with H.T. Intel 915 GV (with 4 memory slots!) mobo and 80 GB sata HDD.
I wanted to upgrade my RAM, I have 2 option as under:

1) Either I purchase additional RAM of 512 MB making the total memory to: 768 MB. (256 MB + 512 MB)

2) I stick to same configuration of RAM already installed in my computer ie. 256 MB, in this case the total memory remains: 512 MB only (256 MB + 256 MB)

PS: I prefer to keep using the existing 256 MB RAM. As its new computer, I am also concerned that the motherboard doesn't get hurt or there isn't any hardware errors later on. On the contrary, any type of increase in memory should be for better performance of my pc.

What do you guys suggest, which is the BEST option to choose 1 or 2 ?

Thanks in advance.

I need to be able to print a variety of sizes in both hard cover as well as soft. I can provide the PDF file -- I just need someone who can take that PDF and turn out high-quality books. They need to be good enough to handle photos

The new yahoo page I cannot stand it! I prefer the old one, to this one. But somehow it is stored on my computer and I hate it!! I delete cookies all the time and close the screen and when I open it again the old page appears! But if I go to another website or surf somewhere, and when I hit the home page button, poof! Yahoo new page pops up! Please any suggestions how I can get rid of this page and keep the old one set on my computer?

I just bought an ultraportable laptop with no optical drive. I'm fine with that but I'd like to be able to connect the two at my desk occasionally to use the optical drive on my desktop. Also, I'd like to be able to transfer files between the two. I was thinking along the lines of a null-modem cable or something? I'm sure there's a newer solution to this problem though. Thanks for your help!
