you've got to learn programming. being a hacker means you have to :

- know how to write a program
- have knowledge about computer hardware/software
- have knowledge about networking
- have knowledge on breaking/cracking down a program
- have lots of time in your hands
- have a good computer
- know how to protect it from other hackers
- be a geek
- have a good motivation (ex. revenge)

it takes a lot of years to learn these things and you cant depend on hacker tools and books cuz that;s so amateur it;s not really those who will make you good but the experience and self-experiments that will make you a great hacker. if you're 14yrs old, its a good beginning if you're 18, you're fine, if your 25 you can still catch up by joining computer companies that trains employees, if you're 30, its not too late and above that age, uhm.. you guys know how much you can comprehend so.. there, that's wat it takes to be a hacker. goodluck!

Ha, it isn't just something you become, it takes a lot of practice and knowledge to actually "hack". Normal people can't be hackers, they don't have the time, the patience, the knowledge or the dedication it takes to learn all tehre is to know about hacking. A good start would be learning how to program though.

let me guess u proberly think u just press a few buttons and thats it??
TOTALLY WRONG to be a good hacker u need to know linux, unix, windows all backwards.. plus all network protocols, ports, etc.. best advise i can give forget about the idea since if you dont know what your doing, and u get caught its a very serious computer crime, so u will lose all your computer stuff and a very large fine.

ah, another script kiddie wanting to hit the big time....

check out the downside first.

if after that you still persist.

here's a little test.

get a packet sniffer. try to intercept anything, decrypt it and show a friend you did it.
