Sounds like you have a virus or worm that is activating a script to shut down windows when you open your browser.
Get a good Avirus software. You can try them for free at download.com for 30 days. This will allow you to run it and see if it helps your situation before you buy it.

Gotta agree with the 2 above me, more then likely a virus or spyware(but that doesnt mean it is for sure) Hell, call the geek squad! lol

I had the same problem, and it was virus Sasser.....maybe you have it too
