If you get what seems like endless spam emails from people saying you have won a lottery or that your relative has died in a car crash and has left you money or anything from anybody.viriglio then you are being targeted by the infamous yahoo yahoo boys of Nigeria. Don't fall for it. Don't answer them because then they just know the email addy is real. Look at this article for more info.

I need email of administrators or developers of Yahoo! slurp engine. This crawler is hitting my site very strangely - and it's making a lot of mess in logs and databases. Yahoo! Slurp is logged in my database that entered a site over 1,4 million times in 1 month (i am logging entries through global.asax) - this is becoming a huge problem...And all the time it is from Yahoo! I want to load all my CDs on to my hard drive (keeping CDDB info) at a high quality. I don't want to use iTunes because I may need use a different player or program to play them someday.

I can't figure out why, but every day it seem to be about 3 minutes off. I have to go into the clock and move the time forward. It will be accurate for the rest of the day. When I power back up the following day, the time will be behind. Any suggestions on fixing this?

By the way, the laptop is about 4 1/2 years old and is a company owned laptop, so I'm stuck with the thing until they do a technology refresh in the fall.

If someone were to disect a hard drive and take the disks out, could you use a zip drive or somthing similar to read and use them as you would a cd or dvd? merely a question of curiosity.

When I copy and paste pictures into mail to be sent - It shows them in the mail I am creating but when they are received on the other end just the words appear. I tired sending to myself to another Yahoo account with the same results - Always shows when I am sending, in other words I can see the pics in the body of the mail as I create it - but when sent --no pics there - just the accompanying words - Thanks

I already have a relatively new high performance notebook. It has a 17" screen, 1gb of memory, 80gb hard drive, 3.2 P4 processor w/HT. I am happy with it but the battery recently gave out.

Rather than fork over $150 for a new one, I thought I would just buy a new cheapie notebook which would be smaller, cooler, and easier to transport to and from classes/library/etc (college student).

If all I want to do is take notes in class, write papers, do some spreadsheeting and some basic software like that (and use my other notebook for everything else), and of course web browsing all while on the go, do you think an AMD Sempron 2.0 ghz and 256 memory is enough or do you suggest getting 512 of memory and/or a different processor?

I don't really care about updating to Windows Vista on this machine when it comes out.
