Because some bios' have a 30GB barrier, many drives have what is called a 30G limit jumper to allow those systems to recognise the drive. Often someone trying to jumper a drive for slave operation accidentally jumper the drive for 30G limit.
Ok, things to check out.
1 - did you accidentally jumper the drive for 30G limit
2 - does your BIOS HAVE the 30GB limit problem

If #2, then you will need to get what is called a "drive overlay".
These are usually freely available from the drive manufacturer's website.
If you are still having problems after this, feel free to mail me.
PS - this isthe third time you have asked this question, maybe you should go back and read the responses you got already.
Also, if you have a 40G drive and a 60G drive, where does the 160G factor into all this, and which drive has 3 partitions, and what sizes are the partitions? I think you need to rethink your question a bit.

May be linux/unix already installed on some partition of this computer which is not visible in windows.
Try using "partition magic" to recover the partition.

Probably the lost partition is formatted with different file system that xp can not recognise. It may be EXT3 file system used for linux.
