My sister is constantly picking songs to play on her iPod while driving, even on the freeway. I told her she should make playlists ahead of time or something, but she doesn't want to do that. What are her options? That would be really messed up if she got in an accident because she was picking out a song on her ipod.

I see some buttons on the steering wheel, about 5 of them, but I do not understand the sequence.

One button says 'Res', another says 'coast', I think another says cancel and so on.

Where do the pedals fit in?

Is it illegal to park your car in a parent/child bay on a public or supermarket car park? I am disabled and when there are no disabled spaces available, (which I know are illegal to park in if you do not have a blue badge), I park in a child/parent space because i have to get my door wide open to get in and out. I cannot take the risk of being parked to close to by others.

I am sick of the whining mothers, (and fathers), with little kids, who I feel only park in these spaces because of the great big Chelsea Tractors that they drive in - their chideren I feel are secondary to this and they would park there even if they hadn't got their kids with them. In the past if they have had a go at me I have told them that I am entitled to park anywhere provided I do not cause an obstruction or traffic violation that is not covered by my blue badge.

I know that the disabled spaces are legitimate and provided for by the Disability Act. I would like to know what Act legitimises the CPSs.

I was driving alone at noon on a friday, I was trying to change lane, but I saw a car in the next lane kind of blocking my way, he would neither take over my car nor let me change the lane. Finally I changed the lane after speeding up; then immediately that guy went to the lane where I was, I was trying do see the driver in that car and turned my head, he saw me and squeeze his lip (show kissing sign), I was about to call 911 and give his license plate number to cop, but he fled and I couldn't note down his number. Every thing happened in few seconds.
Please suggest me what could I have been done to teach him a lesson there so that he would never had dared to repeat the same mistake with another girl again?

Lately I've been seeing a lot of drivers (usually male) sitting with the driver's seat apparently moved as far back as it can possibly go, and usually reclined !!!! What's the reason for this? Don't they realize they can easily lose control of the car sitting so far back? They are sitting so far back and down, sometimes it looks like the car has no driver !!

When I'm around intersections and turning points, I only see about seven out of ten cars using their blinkers to signal their turns. Why don't they use them? It's not like it's difficult to turn them on.

for example, people driving RV's should be required to have more than a regular license-have you ever watched one of them??? an RV pulling a trailer, pulling a car!!!!
or people in cars who think we have 18 wheels, so we must have 18 brakes and can stop on a dime!!!
learning how to share the road should be a requirement for everyone.

You are driving in a car at a constant rate of speed. On your right side is a valley and on your left side is a fire engine truck. In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car. Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground level. Both the giant pig and the helicopter are also traveling at the same time. What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

For example....im watching Motorweek and when they talk about new model year vehicles.....some improvements include a stronger or stiffer chassis from the previous year.....how is that possible.....the improvements are always 30% stiffer or strong, 60% stiffer or stronger and its usually with trucks......and I ask myself, ....... "Self .... stronger or stiffer compared to what?????? last year???"........At this rate .......these frames or chassis should be indestructible by now........, is there some new metal being used that wasnt used before? how can there be that much of an improvement over the year before.....what were we driving before ....cars and trucks made of cardboard......please .....educate me?
