When I'm around intersections and turning points, I only see about seven out of ten cars using their blinkers to signal their turns. Why don't they use them? It's not like it's difficult to turn them on.

I heard that they just don't feel like it. I still don't know why they're so stupid. Isn't there some kind of rule that says to use it? I understand broken lights causing it, but just not doing seems stupid.

Because people just don't give a dam. It'a a move out of my way world to a lot of people. Those people usually end up in accidents as I know because I've seen it a lot in my line of work as a paramedic and someone usually says I didn't use my blinker or something to that effect. There are also several distractions from driving now a days including DVD players, people eating on the run, droping things, and people under the influence of things. Best advise is to keep your skills sharp and watch out for people like that. We have to take defensive driving every year and the say that most acidents can be avoided. And I agree with you, it dosen't take a rocket scientist to turn a signal on. Welcome to the lazy america!!

Those people are most likely not going to get in a barfight even when that is the only good choice, or tell thier wife/girlfriend she is being a biyotch when she is being one. They are doing what they can to look and feel like they are anti-establishment without making too many waves. Real toughies! They look as if they don't care about others safety, but maybe thier stinkin' blinker switch is broken and it is you who should let them know so they can get it fixed.

somewhat apprehensive while driving, are we? on your tale, it style of feels all and sundry on the line that morning replaced into driving loopy, different than you. That tells me perchance you need to be comparing the way youchronic rather of all and sundry else. Now i'm going to grant you that the semi ought to have subsidized off some, yet while he made you that apprehensive, you need to have in basic terms pulled over and allow him pass. i know they inform you in driving force's ed to decelerate and allow somebody pass this is following too close, yet that would not artwork with semis on 2 lane roads. A semi desires so plenty extra distance to pass than a vehicle does and that they are in a position to't advance up like a vehicle, so as that they are in a position to't consistently in basic terms pass because of the fact there's a broken line on the line. i think he replaced into staying close, so as that if he have been given a raffle, he ought to pass you. all and sundry is often saying semi drivers are risky and that i will grant you that some are, yet most of the time, this is a case of the driving force this is saying it, is the only doing something incorrect. in case you sense a semi in the back of you is so completely risky, my ultimate suggestion is to get the hell out of his way, by skill of dashing up or pulling over and allowing them to by skill of. If he's so risky, why are you trusting him with your life?

Where I come from, it's sometimes not a good idea. Especially when making lane changes. People are rude and won't let you in knowing you'll be stealing their "pole position". Other than that, you're right- it isn't that heavy. Some people just don't care how inconsiderate they've become.

people are too busy talking on the phone, drinking coffee, reading the paper, eating burgers, knitting, reading palms - you name it - while driving, so road courtesy is one of the first victims. it's a consideration issue, and unfortunately is no longer considered a safety issue. of course, it's still better than the ignoramus who zooms past roads and driveways with his blinker on, never intending to turn.

No, idea but it annoys the [you know what] outa me. About creamed someone the other day because they didn't use their blinker. Bleh. Seems worse in rural areas though, maybe because people are more comfortable and feel like they aren't gonna have an accident in rural areas.

Don't you know, the rules only apply to regular people.
The 'special people' don't have to use blinkers, they don't have to say please or thank you, they can stay seated while pregnant ladies & grannies stand on the bus/train, ad naseum.
To me it's pure laziness.
