What is up with that? Do you not care for your child? Did you know that most fatal car accidents happen near your home and even a 5 mph crash can be a fatal? Why would anyone risk their childs life?

People wait until the last minute (when they knew their lane was closing) and then try to squeeze in front of those of us who got in at the back of the line? Also, there are the idiots who go ahead and let them in, 3-4 of them at a time. They might not have anywhere to go but those of us a few cars back who waited patiently might need to be somewhere. I always courteously let in 1 car. Those behind me can each let someone in. Traffic would go a lot smoother. It's really aggitating don't ya think?

I had an accident today, and I hit another car, but I am almost 100 percent sure, my light was still green, the guy was turning and we colided, we were both going kinda slow so it wasnt too to bad, it was just the impact because my car was alot heavier than his. So my first clue that im not at fault is that the guy just sat there, didnt talk to me just kinda stared into nothing ness, my second is when i talked to the officer that came, i told him my story and he said there was a witness that agreed, but like he didnt make it to clear as to with whom, I figured it was with me because if not he might have said, well unfortunatly for you i have a witness that says the opposite. I didnt get a ticket, but i dont know if you get one right at the accident sight, a few hrs ago i was so sure my light was green but now im a nervous wreck and i think im over analyazing. What do you all think? Thank you

The 4x4 that I have, gives me the ability to "lock" the differential. I understand that you do this for true 4x4 driving, but I'm confused as to when I should use it. I read, never on dry pavement and only in certain circumstances. If a road is totally icy, should I use it? Should I only use it when I have to and then turn it off immediately??? Anyone "really" know???

Okay, I live very close to the lake, and it can get real foggy at times. This morning for example, the fog was real thick. I don't understand why people would purchase vehicles that have fog lights......but not use them in the fog!!! I see more people use them when there is no fog, rather than use them for their normal purpose--hence the title of the lights...."Fog Lights". Anyways, what do you think of this...do you see the same where you live? Are you one of those people that have fog lights on your vehicle, but don't use them?

for family and friends to have to deal with the reality that they are never going to see their sons and daughters again.

It saddens me that these young drivers still ignore all the advice and media coverage on speeding and following the rules of the road.

What extra measures do you think ought ot be implemented to protect these young drivers from their own foolishness? And where does the responsibility lay in ensuring that these drivers take note that a car is an implement of death if handled disrepectfully.

Since last Thursday here in the North East of Scotland (aberdeenshire) there has been 8 fatalities alone. Not counting those who were injured.

After my experience of driving to work today I felt compelled to post a question regarding old people driving! Before I get slated - I hold the elderly in the utmost respect and would never normally disrespect them but after suffering a near break down this morning here goes!
He pulls out in front of me doing a handbrake turn doing about 40 - then proceeds to drive at 21mph the whole way along a back road - then turns left across a massively busy main road - but decides to stop in the middle of his turn whilst hes safely after reaching the other side of the road - leaving ME stranded on the wrong side with traffic tearing up the lane - I could go on - but Id honestly never finish it - but I have to say - is it safe to have drivers like this guy on the road? When I DID get to overtake I looked at him and he was about 90 and in no fit state to be in control of a car! Lets face it you need to have quick reflexs in the event of emergencies when driving! opinions please!

Ive noticed lately that old people must love to jaywalk on a red light. Do they care that a 2500 pound car has a high possibility of turning them into confetti? Do they think they can out-scoot the by crossing a 4 lane street? And I know signals have been around since 1868 (look it up if you dont believe me), so why would they believe red means go? I guess alzheimers CAN really kill you.
