Lately I've been seeing a lot of drivers (usually male) sitting with the driver's seat apparently moved as far back as it can possibly go, and usually reclined !!!! What's the reason for this? Don't they realize they can easily lose control of the car sitting so far back? They are sitting so far back and down, sometimes it looks like the car has no driver !!

They think it makes them cool, but my personal opinion is, that they look like an idiot. Because anybody that is a decent driver, will set up, where there reaction time, is much quicker. Wait till they fall asleep, while laying down behind the wheel. lol,.... After they wreck, then they will learn how to drive. ..........ps, I'd like to see them pass their drivers exam, while reclined way back.

Sitting contained in the drivers seat isn't a criminal offense except you're less than the impact of alcohol. Even then, if she hasn't were given a licence the police would ought to teach the likelyhood of her utilising and likely does not prevail.

Driving car is mirror of driver fillings and thinking. Position of the driver can shove way they look from inside of their heads to rest of the world. Strait, smiling driver can handle any life situation with self control. Hiding driver may shove own hiding from other people, from him self. It may prove some illegal activity beside driving. Maybe something as member of the gang or having available space for oral sex during driving....:-)

Well, as for ME, it's 'cause my dang legs are so long, it's the only way I CAN sit without my knees banging on the dash.
I don't recline any more than necessary to keep my noggin from rubbing on the headliner.

if you scoot back all the way and dont know why you know all the other people are driving just like you so its easier because you cant think about how to make driving safer.
