After the recent heavy rains almost all roads have big potholes and suface of the roads have washed away. It is well after two weeks and still government has not started the repair work.

you are either going to discuss it here, form opinions, and take no action, or you are going to initiate some action either directly or through someone in power to ensure that the work starts and the roads get better.

I hate to tell you this, but it will probably be another 2 weeks before you see any repair-by the way, thiruvanathapuram is a huge word.
