How far are you prepared to go to degrade and humiliate yourself for the sake of two points, possibly twelve.

What is the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

I’ve seen a lot of articles and programs on high-speed monorail trains. Driving down the interstates here in the U.S. and Canada I have often looked at the median strip and wondered if a high-speed monorail system could not be incorporated into our national highway system. Various stations could be constructed that could offer access to other local forms of transportation. Anyone else think this would be viable?

What exactly do they do? they open that little door when they get to a station and turn a key (that little door is gonna take a passenders eye out sooner or later), then they press another button when train ready to leave! Is that it! Oh they chat to their co workers a lot.

Come on its a joke isnt it? These lot have a job for life. They do the same thing day after day after day...... Heard one of them last week saying "blimey ive been seperating trains all week" whoa exciting stuff!

When the new trains came in the guards were claiming they were being treated like glorified Kit Kat sellers! Well THATS WHAT YOU ARE !!!!

How many of Pre-pay users see 'unresolved journeys' on their card? This means when you haven't touched in or touched out at a station. From November it will automatically charge you £4 if you don't touch in or touch out.
Make sure you see the green light on the reader when you put your Oyster on it.
Just wanted to know if anyone actually had heard about this yet?

we are planning a trip to Florida in the spring, and are entertaining the idea of taking the train down and fly back, just to say we did it. We will have to drive to Boston,(we are in Maine), and will go to Fort Myers, or somewhere near. We have taken short trips on Amtrak, Maine to Mass., but we have never talked to anyone who has taken long trips. I checked and it would take 25 hours +/- to get there.
Have you traveled on Amtrak, and would you do it again? Thanks for your time.
