Train A is traveling at 70 MPH. Train B is on the same track as train A and traveling towards it. Train B is traveling at 60 MPH. The train track runs east and west. There is a 15 MPH wind coming directly from the north. The weight of the cargo on Train A and B are both 1,000,000 1bs. There is 45 people on Train A, and 100 people on Train B. Just as the two trains approach each other 65 percent of the people on Train A jump off and 90 percent of the people on Train B jump off. After the two trains collide, how many people will be left on board asuming 3y=x?

Most elevated/subway trains use two types of control(er)s, either a Cineston or what's called a master control(the lever). I'm curious as to which is easier to operate and which is more efficient.

I need to travel from London (any station) to Stockport (actually bramhall but think Stockport could be the nearest station direct from london) and I need to find the cheapest fare,

I know about avoiding the trainline website which adds £2 booking charge and to go direct to the train company itself, and about getting 2 single tickets as it costs less than a return, though I will be travelling in one day

I dont mind as many changes as it takes to get it to the cheapest level- as long as it wont take more than 7 hours per journey.

Is it cheaper to go to another town and get a coach/bus/smaller train? Is it cheaper to go on a certain day/time/...etc
how far in advance should I book the ticket? and does anyone know the best route?
I will be transporting something largei-sh and heavy (though carriable) and hence I have found a coach to cost more, (£33 return)

The best price I have found is £13.50 single (so £27 return), no days in advance, anyone know of anything cheaper?

We hear that Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express travel at a maximum speed of 140 km per hour, and ordinary trains dont travel more than 110 km per hour, even in electrified double line routes. And that too, not consistently. But in other countries like Europe and USA, 100 km per hour is considered "Dead Slow".

Some robbed passengers have alleged that the cops are in connivance with the robbers, who simply enter the compartments at night and rob the passengers, and at that precise time, the cops are "absent"...My own Aunt was robbed of her gold chain once...
