I want to ship a car to Russia; however, would anybody know the cost of paying the customs in the Russian port to let the car into the country? I could send it but the company only reaches the port. It is not a door to door service.

I feel like I just proved to myself that I'm a total moron. I maintain a 3.8 gpa and all that. In spite of all that, I failed my permit test by one (14/18) and feel like a total idiot. I want to go to Penn, however now think to myself that there cannot be many there who failed their permit test.

With China and India becoming the next big markets for automobiles should the manufacturers selling there be more sustainability minded? Do you know of any efforts by the big manufacturers to prevent major damage to the earth if millions of new drivers are allowed to drive around in polluting current models? For example are hybrid cars being pushed in order to encourage people away from conventional vehicles?

Any links about the Chinese and Indian auto industry would be good

Thanks

I live in Lenzie and work in Motherwell my old car was a ford escort, as i have quite a long round trip every day i desided to do my bit for the environment, so i bought a subaru had it fitted with high time valves also got it chipped with a couple of other green modes it now has a respectable 375hp cutting down my driving time by at least 33% I have mostly motorway miles m73 to m74 to commute and i save the environment an amazing 14mins in the morn and 8mins going home (traffic). this works out to over 80 hours driving time a year that i am saving for our planet on my trips to work alone, not only that but i now get a wonderful feelgood facture as I know that i am doing my part in preserving mother earth for our so deserving and charming youth.

I know GM does and it gives you cash back on your purchases toward a new car. Wondered if Ford might have the same thing?

I got a new car recently and haven't received my license plates yet.

I drove it to my university and parked it in the parking structure there, but forgot to put up my parking permit, and got cited for it.

But I'm wondering, if my car doesn't have plates (and the citation references that there's no plate number), couldn't I potentially just not pay it and get away with it? It's a rather hefty fine and I've been good about my parking permit ever since then.
