How come the headlights on our '95 Chrysler are about 18 inches from the pavement, and the lights on almost all pickups, suv's,other larger vehicles 2 to 3 feet above the pavement. If you are in front of one of these, their lights shine DIRECTLY into your rear-view mirrors. It's really an annoyance.Any opinions???

do they need to be of a similar charge when you connect them?(to stop power surging into the empty ones)
what charge rate would you advise?
Does it matter if its a mix off batteries(size/type)? if so which types would be compatable?
CHEERS

I went to Swift trucking school in Richmond for a month. The instructors weren't too hands on in training but I passed the classroom with a 94% average and I passed the pre-trip twice but, I failed on the skills test. I was able to perform the 45 alley dock and the straight-line without much of a problem but, I failed on the sight-side and the bliond-side parallel parking. In my state, North Carolina, the DMV doesn't even test for the last two skills, but, I failed the school due to those two skills. Will anyone give me a chance?

Is it my '95 civic with 4 cylinder v-tec engine? Or it must be the rumble of my large exhaust. Oh wait, I got it. It is the spoiler that pushes my tires to the ground as I blow by you. Or the carbon-fiber hood that ligthens the load. Or the badass with the frosted tips and earring driving. Or all of the above. Move out of my way or I will move you for you.

After all ,how long before Ford decide to move the prodution of 4x4 to another country with lower cost and higher returns, if the sale of 4x4 continue to decline in this country. Where are you going to find work?

You know the part that u step on first before you get in the SUV on the side of the car. I just bought a Tahoe which don't have it because it's raised with 24s and I have to literally climb in it because I'm short. I can't think of what it's called right now. I want to ask the dealer but I can't think of the darn word.
I was curious if it's possible to add it, like most SUV have.

I see people all the time at elevators and especially at traffic lights pushing the buttons for either the elevator to come to their floor or the dont walk signal to change to walk many many times over and over again. Does it matter whether u press that button once or keep pressing it many times. Does it make the elvetor come fasfter or the light signal change faster if i keep pushing it many times.
thanks

My buddy won't buy a standard shift civic because he believes that his wife can't properly drive a standard shift car. He claims she wore out 3 consecutive clutches by constantly "riding the clutch". He says that women just cant drive a standard (I told him the guy who will be best man is a clutch rider...so I don't think it's just a chick thing). Is it true: Lady driven = clutch ridden???

Come on seriously guys. Do you think putting white wheels , couple of extra headlights and a poxy wing on the back of your Fiat Punto is going to turn you into a world class rally driver. You look ridiculous !
And worse still you stick a stupidly oversized exhaust on the back just to make sure we can all hear you coming from 2 miles away
At least it gives us a chance to finish our tea before we come out to laugh at you as you drive by
