The best radar detector is the human eye. If you are driving like a reasonable human being, it will spot radar traps with no problem and you won't get a ticket. If you are like me, you probably got two of those eyes for free. LOLOL!!!
Personally I think there is only one use for those stupid beeping boxes, and that is to make people think they only have to obey the law when there are police around.

I would say the two best radar detectors are the Escort 8500 and the Valentine V1. The escort costs about $300 and the Valentine costs around $400 i think. They are both good radar detectors.
