Do the liters also mean how much oil to put into the engine?

350 is an engine size in cubic inches. Most engines now have metric sizing. To envision a litre, think a little larger than a US quart. The average 4 cylinder engine is 1.6 to 2.4 litres, 6 cylinder ranges from about 2.6 to 4 litre, 8 cylinder engines can be 3.6 litre and larger. A 350 is about 5.7 litres.

Here is a liter calculator you can use. A 350 is around 5.7L

And here is a link that explains what liters are.
Basically, it is the volume of air in liters that all your cylinders can hold at once.

And in case you didn't know, the 350 measures the same thing as liters except in cubic inches. So, a 350 means the engine has 350 cubic inches of displacement. Liters are more accurate because cylinders are round.

The V stands for the shape of the engine when looking at it from the front.

**edit***
LIters have nothing to do with how much oil to put in. Most 6 & 8 cylinders take 5 quarts and the 4 cylinders take 4 quarts. Consult your owners manual for the engine oil capacity. There are 2 hash marks on your oil dipstick. One for low and one for full. It takes 1 quart of oil to fill the engine from the low mark to the high mark.

i think your talking about the chevy 350 that converts in the metric system as a 5.7 litre displacement. as of add ons it depends on what style body the car is, and what the engine is.(ls1,lt1,ect.)
