I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 and was having problems with the wind noise in the sunroof. I filed with the BBB Autoline, before it went to arbitration GM offered MSRP trade for my car. The dealer offered me a good deal on a new car. I just want everyone to know that you can fight the big boys and come out ok. If you are going thru something similar feel free to email me and i'll share with you what i learned during this process. Don't let General Motors or any other auto manufacturer bully you.

Got a red light photo ticket tonight in OC, CA. To make things worse, I was driving my mother in law's car. yikes!!! I haven't had a ticket for 2+ years. I know I can go to traffic school for speeding, what about for red light infraction? I really want this removed, because the last thing I want is to raise the insurance of my mother in laws car. The car is registered under her name.

Anyone know about this or any other pointers would be appreciated! I would prefer a traffic school near Burbank or OC. thanks!

would prefer to give to a museum or historical society. I am in Connecticut...does anyone know of an auto museum in this area? My local historical society kept it for the summer display, but they have limited storage and sadly gave it back to me, so my search for a permanent home continues. You can see pictures of it at

The first picture shows the much-used car seat; the second shows the underside of the seat with manufacturer and installation instructions.

I have a large corner lot, you see, with a thick stand of old pine trees right at the corner where a major thoroughfair and my neighborhood's main street come together.

Lately, Bob has taken to crouching down among the trees and just watching the traffic on the main drag for hours, just squating there and swinging his big tail from side to side--not really doing anything but just watching.

Well, that's not completely true! I've noticed that Bob seems to get agitated every time a city bus goes past and even more agitated when it is loaded with LOTS of passengers.

Huh! You know?

So--is this something I ought to get concerned over? I mean, the buses are pretty fast and ought be able to outdistance Bob if the lights are with them.

I just hate the idea of putting Bob on a chain because he is REALLY GOOD at keeping squirrels away from my pecan trees in back AND ridding me of stray cats coming up and yowling under my windows at night.

--Give me some feedback on this, OK?

I have always wanted to know this, but when you're first in front at a red stop light, it seems if you "bump up" forward it somehow goes ahead and makes the light turn green after waiting awhile for it to turn....as if the weight of your car on the street trips the light. I thought traffic lights were always timed, but the tripping thing always seems to at least work when I try it. Does anyone professional know?
