I can't find this information anywhere what is the difference in MPG from a 4:10 and a 3:73 axle ratio? thanks

I don't have the info at hand either but I do have personal experience with both. The only time you will really notice the difference is at highway speeds or while pulling a heavy load. The 4.10's will get horrible mileage at 65 MPH because the motor will be running at high rpm's. And for pulling heavy loads the 3.73's will provide you with less torque so you will be pressing the throttle harder to pull the load. Chevy for years has used basically 3 different ratios 3.09 - 3.73 - and 4.10, The 3.73 is the best all around ratio but it really boils down to what you will be using the vehicle for.
