this morning my girlfriend went to obtain her license, when she got there she aced the written test. She heard about a very rude man that works there that discriminates on peoples age with the actual driving test. She has heard this from friends. My girlfriend is a younger woman (18) When he got in the car with her he immidiately started to give her a rude and unecessary attitude towards her due to a small crack in the windsheild of her car. at the end of the test he failed her saying that she failed to put her blinker on to make a right turn at 100 feet away, even though he told her to turn at the very last minute. He was extremely mean to her and even yelled at her. She even told me before he took her that the guy before her failed and he was laughing about failing the guy. From what she has also heard, she is not the only one this has happened to. She came home literally in tears, not so much that she couldnt get her license, but because of how mean he was to her.

I have a 1997 ford probe and when I run the A/C ewhile I am driving I have no problem, but when I am in park or stopped at a light my A?C starts to drain the power from my battery. I can have my lights on and the radio and nothing happens. It is only when I am running the A/C as far as I have seen. I watched it and the engine starts to shake and rattle when I have the A/C on and it in park, every time the engine shakes the battery indicater in my car shows more drainage. Please help...

I'm talking about a truck the size of a Ford Ranger, Chevy S-10 or Colorado, etc. Why is it taking so long to incorporate hybid technology into trucks, vans and SUVs?

So true story, I live in New Jersey, so someone pumps my gas for me, and at the gas station today I only had a ten. I specifically asked for 10$ regular cash, and even (like I always do) held the bill out for the guy. He didn't take it immediatley, and ste the pump for fill. I didnt realize this untill it got to about $23. I did not have that much cash on me, and after much argument with the guy I ended up charging it to my credit card because they wouldnt let me leave. (sonething I did NOT want to do.) I've only been driving like, a year and a half, so that's never happened to me before, and I had no idea what to do. Should I call the manager of the place and demand my money back (I guess it's too late now) Or what should I (or what would you) have done in the situation?

I have 2001 Volvo Crosscountry station wagon. It has worked well except for a lot of odd electrical problems. Some of these problems include windows and locks not workign properly and message box by the spedometer givign me false messages. We have taken this car in again and again to Volvo. The prolbems come and go and there doesn't seem be any solution. Can anybody give me advice on how to dirrect Volvo on how to look into this problem (I don't want to give them permission to do any costly and unnessecary investigation) also any other simple solutions on how to deal with this problem and possibly solve them. I do need to stress that Volvo has looked into these problems and made attempts ot fix them however it has becoem apparent that they may not understand what kidn of problem they are working with. I have doen soem research nad these problems seem to be somewhat common among Volvo's as well as the difficultyi n fixing them. Can anybody help?!

Obviously both are changing during approach, what I'd like to know is that if the pilot sets a stable pitch and plays with throttle (which i hear on the videos), or tries to set the appropriate thrust, and controls mainly with the stick.
(I've managed to get some info from a really kind pilot in Farnborough, and I got to know that in daylight the actual (straight) approach is 15-20 seconds...)
Any related info welcome!
thanks!
