I know people often fail parallel parking...

But i was curious what are other things that make you miss points usually? Or fail?

I live in a small town in michigan.. no freeway driving.. just driving around town and parking in an empty parking lot.

My vehicle specs are; Regular Cherokee, Country, 4.0 litre 6 cyl inline, 4 door, 4WD and I have ABS. Several mechanics have quoted me the following repair costs for the front CV joints. $700. $600 $400. & $300. I can buy the parts for about $60. What is a reasonable cost to do this repair job? Also, what is the danger of not immediately attending to this repair? Thanks.

There are mostly dirt tracks here where there are any roads at all, and we have a prairie/desert terrain - cactus, sagebrush, rocks and sand - and lots of hills. We chase cattle and livestock primarily, and want a truck that is good and long lasting in these situations. Naturally, we have to haul a lot of heavy items and equipment, and tow horsetrailers and such. What would you recommend? New or old, doesn't matter.

Do you recall these handy little thing-a-ma-giggies? You know, the springy, wire kinda thingy that your grandparents had installed on the right front fender on every car they owned. I wonder what happened to them? Do we drive better these days? Or mabe a little curb rubbing is not such a bad thing now. Anyway, just some'n ta think about for the day. How silly huh?
