1. Never stare into the headlights of an approaching vehicle, instead:
Look off to the left
Look up at the sky
Look off to the right
Look down at your steering wheel
All of the above
2. Covering the brake pedal:
Is illegal
Could help you avoid a collision
Is the same as slamming on the brakes
All of the above
None of the above
3. The minimum amount of automobile insurance coverage required by law is:

There is no minimum

If a Honda Civic can weigh 2600 pounds and have 140hp and get 30/40 mpg (city/hwy), why do all of the subcompacts (Aerio, Fit, Versa, Yaris, Scion, etc.) which weigh several hundred pounds less, have smaller engines and around 100 hp not get better mileage? Is it so hard to make a tiny, light, underpowered car that gets 40+ mpg?

At Costco, I haven't there recently, but when I was there last time, they did not install new tires on the front wheel, no matter what kind of car. I believe it was their policy. Anyone know why?

Can someone tell me why all the taxis (at least in Washington, DC) say "Call 911" somewhere on them, usually right next to the sign that says "taxi"? You can't call 911 to have them dispatch a cab, can you?
