these make the seat belt longer to fit properly for very large people. They can also be used to properly fit a child safety seat in an older model car.

Should only be used for people too large for the standard seat belt to fit. Do not use them to make the seat belt looser on a normal person. This will only result in serious injuries in an accident.

About 12 yrs ago I witnessed an accident when a car tried to pass another and had a head on with a pickup. The lady driving the car had a seat belt on. She purchased clips that went on the seat belt and could be adjusted to stop the belt from retracting. Her belt was so loose that she impacted the steering wheel, which caused her Renal Artery to rupture. She died before getting to the hospital. The car had collapsed properly and the passenger compartment was completely normal. She would have lived if she wore the seat belt properly. She left behind a husband and four kids.

If you purchased a new vehicle these are available free at the Chevy/Buick dealership where I work by contacting your salesman. If you don't have success contact the manufacturer and I bet you will get these for free. Definitely for the heavier folks. Works like a charm. Should be OEM (Original Equip Mfg)for insurance purposes in case of an accident in my opinion. Not sure what the other manufacturers offer or if there is a time limitation for the freebees. I sell Chevys and Buicks and I have gotten these for free for my customers several times so you can trust this reply. Woody
