My 16 year old crashed the 94 honda del sol that I bought him six months ago. The hood is damaged, the radiator is bent, but the doors, top, windshield looks fine. It still runs but is not leaking fluid. The body shop said it would take $5000.00 to get it fixed. I only paid 2500.00 for the car. How can I sell it for the most money? Where should I advertise?

Why is it so expensive to have your car maintained? Labor costs are outragous. Why do they charge so much in labor? And what can I do to try and get discounts? I feel like they try to scam me sometimes because I'm a girl, but they don't realize that I do know about my car...just not how to fix it. What hints can you provide?
