A repo man can go onto property, just like the pizza man and the guy who delivers your paper. They cannot enter your residence, garage, or move your property to obtain the merchandise you are in effect stealing since you aren't paying for it.
Since the repo man came around, that means you breached your contract with your bank or dealership, and they are going to come collect.
What you should have done instead of not paying your dues was call your bank and get an extension on the loan, say if you had 12 months left and the payments were too high, they could change the time to 24 months and lowered your monthly payment to where you could pay more comfortably, and pay extra when you can.
If the repo man did come and move things to get to this merchandise, you may not have a leg to stand on, because it's their word against yours, and you'll need proof that they did move your property.

They are strangers to me and if I find them on my property trying to steal, **** them up like the methheads that they are. My cousin had to get a car repoed and they busted through his moms gate, and then told my aunt, "**** you *****, move or Ill run you down. That was to a 60 something year old classy lady. Repo men need to stop their cry babying because their behavior is what causes all the problems. Im sure there are some cool and decent Repo men, but the majority are pieces of ****. Thats who the good repo agent should be mad at. the bad screw up the reputation of a necessary and tough job.

Again, I am astonished by the INCORRECT information that is placed on here with the air of authority of people that actually know what they're talking about.
Legally, a reposessor CANNOT trespass on your property without permission. However, a reposessor will do whatever is within their physical power to get your vehicle. But legally, if a repo man comes onto your property, you have the right to order him off, and if he doesn't leave, you can call law enforcement, who will make sure he gets off your property.
I would never advocate this, but if one didn't want to wait on law enforcement, one might consider retaining the firm of Smith and Wesson to explain one's point of view to the repo man.
If you're worried about it, park the car in the garage and put another car directly in front of the garage door.
Better yet, make a payment on your car loan!

No. They cannot go in your garage, move other cars, or go in a locked fence. My hubby was a cop for years and dealt with repo men all the time

I don't know the laws in your area but they can do alot. Ever see that show RepoMen? It showed these guys taking cars and boats without even notifying/asking the people who 'owned' them. They were pretty much stealing them! So they can probably go on your property, if they can take it without asking you.
