When the car is cold. That's when you check the air pressure on the tires, check the oil in the engine, and check your anti-freeze. The first 2 checks, you'll get a more accurate reading. The 3rd check, the anti-freeze, it's obviously safer to check it when the cars cold. Other wise you'll burn your face off if you try to take the radiator cap off when the car is hot.

The tires get warm during use. That is when you want the pressure to be correct. I say check them warm.

when they are cool if u check them when they are warm u will get a false reading and will have more trouble down the road
