the resale value on h/d bikes is and will always be fairly well, however resale on japanese, italian,russian, and for that matter any other brand bike appears to drop as soon as you start it up the first time! and history shows that only a very few will ever be worth collecting. so any money saved at purchase is just a bunch of crap and a way for ignorant people to justify saying that all these other brands are build so much better!!! what are the chances of seeing a 2006 polaris victory selling for 4 times its original price in 2046 or will there even be one left that is still in service.

On my 1984 goldwing aspencade,after switching from speaker to helment,I get no radio or intercom.The CB comes in fine,but nothing else.I've checked the connection at the switching box,and every thing seems ok.Help

I was wondering if there was a place in the area that lets novices come and they give you a few lessons and let you ride around on a track or something like that with a motorcycle or dirtbike. I don't want motorcycle lessons to get a license or anything like that, something where they let you come in for a few hours and maybe teach you how to ride on an easy bike.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I always see stuff like "all harley dealers charge thousands over list" or "harley uses 50 year old technology". I don't remember the twin cams or evos on the earlier harleys. The only 2 motorcycles I seen on the side of the road this season were both hondas. Yeah , I know your sportbike or your goldwing (minivan) can smoke my lowrider, my girlfriends chevy blazer can smoke a school bus too. BFD.

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to assist but I figured I'd "throw it out" to see if you all can advise. I am about to list my hubbys Harley for sale as it is just sitting in the garage. It does need a fix that we are advised will cost around 300-400 but hubby does not want to fool with it - just wants to sell it. Anyway, it's a 1987 Sportster "Hugger" with 15K miles only. It is all pd. off so no bank involved...okay, so...if you were listing this would you list it on eBay or Craigslist or __________ (other suggestion)? and how much would you list it for?

I'm having a really hard time getting the clutch to pull in and out on my bike. It's actually an ATV, but the answer will apply to all motorcycles with a manual clutch.

What would be some internal issues that would cause the clutch to be hard to pull in? I've bought new cables and levers and nothing helps.

The engine makes a clicking sound when its idling but only when in neutral. I'm pretty sure its the clutch seeing as it only does it in neutral but is there something wrong with it or is it normal?
