This person Bigbuck16 says I'm clown. Look at his question and read my answer:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuHnYyvGK5qCNpNOecIERDU2xgt.?qid=20070413092247AAdjNwl

It's long, but if you take a look at my links it is pretty obvous that the ES is better.

My answer was rated badly by someone but I think one should read my entire answer then decide. I don't think the people in that question rate answers fairly.

Which car do you think is better?

Tokyo Drift had it's moments....the acting was mediocre but the cars and stunts were excellent...the best part of the movie was the end...when Vinnie D as Dominic Toretto again, pulled up in a silver 70 Plymouth Roadrunner or GTX...talking about how he knew the character Haun from Mexico...and they race...it would cool to see him and Michelle Rodriguez in the next movie

They say prestige is in the good name and reputation of a brand, but with Lexus's top quality, reliabilty, incredible luxury, and high resale value among other its good qualities, isn't it what they are referring to as "prestige"?

They insist that it still hasn't got the prestige, has it?

I purchased one of those performance modules from ebay that is suppose to give me better mileage and performance. Is it a good idea to install it? Will it hurt the engine? And, where is the intake air temperature sensor (IAT) it needs to be connected to?

I am looking to buy a pre 2000 model year lexus coup. I have done some research, but i am having trouble figuring out wether to get a 6 cyl lexus sc300 or a 8 cyl lexus sc400. Does the larger engine car get ALOT worse gas mileage? Is maintenance on both cars the same? Anyone that owns either of these cars have any insight?
thanks.

Will it decrease my power significantly? I know the engine might ping with lower octane since it calls for 91 or higher but would 89 make such a difference?

In the process of looking for a smaller SUV, someone suggested to me a 1999 Lexus RX300. i absolutely love the idea of having this car! it is beautiful, a good size, luxurious, and best of all, it fits my $12,000 dollar budget! the only drawback is the gas mileage - i would be getting around 19-20 mpg. i might be able to handle that, but one of the review sites i visited says that Lexus recommends premium fuel. i know i cant afford to drive 60 miles a day in an SUV using premium fuel. but i read an article in Consumer Reports saying that some engines that reccommend premium fuel will reckonize the knocking caused by using regular [instead of premium] fuel and adjust the engine timing and etc. accordingly. i am guessing [and hoping] that an expensive luxury vehicle like a Lexus will be able to do this. so, would it be safe to use regular fuel in this vehicle? thank you for any help!

OK i dont know what the problem is yet. i have a 1994 Lexus ES300. It will go into drive but it takes awhile when its cold. so in the morning i have to sit there and rev the engine and after awhile it will just kick into drive and go. if i dont and just let it warm up then put it in drive its the samething i still have to sit there and rev the engine till it kicks into drive. i have tried shifting in different gears (Its Automatic) and still doesnt kick in. i do notice that when i rev it sometimes my overdrive light flickers on and off. anyone know anything about this?

I'm driving down Interstate 4 last week and I swore I saw a Lexus pickup truck drive past me.. It looked like a smaller truck, like Nissan Frontier size, not F-250 size.. I looked on Lexus's site, but see nothing about a pickup..

i just got the 07 sc430 convertible like 2 months ago it's perfect. yesterday i come in for a free cleaning by lexus. i come in they got complimentary starbucks, and free donuts while i wait in a room with an extremely comfortable sofa and a 50 inch plasma. now that is comfort to wait for your car. i had the benz 04 clk 500 coupe and when i went to benz for checkup they didn't have anything but a wait in an office while your car is being serviced. that office looked like a damn closet. when you go to get your car checked at lexus they really know how to give you a 5 star treatment while you wait. damn i didn't want to leave.
