The Benz E320 is the nicest car of the three. Mu opinion is the C-Class is a little small.
Reliability wise the Lexus is by far the way to go. They have an excellent reputation for dependability, even at higher mileage.
Mercedes like I stated are nicer car, but they need to be maintained better and are more expensive to maintain. The C-class is really an entry level Mercedes and is not as luxurious as one would expect.
The ride quality will be better on the Lexus because they are built for lower speed driving. The Mercedes E320 will feel rougher because it has a more aggressive suspension due to the fact its German and they have the autobahn. Making a sportier suspension necessary.
seeing the mileage and your limited knowledge of these you would be best served going with the - Lexus
I hope this helps

in case you pick a clean vehicle (purchase or hire) get a BMW or Mercedes even nonetheless it must be bit extra $. in case you purchase a used BMW or Mercedes, ensure it has guarantee on it, as a results of fact the upkeep and maintance are very costly. Lexus is an magnificent fee on you cash. You get each and every thing that BMW and Mercedes has to furnish for third of the cost. despite the fact that, they allpersistent incredibly boring, apart from the IS-F. yet another element approximately Lexus is that it truly is seen the main sturdy vehicle producer interior the international and produces large sturdy autos. on your case, definite GS 450 is an magnificent vehicle. the interior is spectacular, however the outdoors rear outdoors is bit boring. even nonetheless i like the front. LExus often (Up interior the previous) have been seen autos for the old ppl, yet now the redesigned autos have helped replaced that photograph. i comprehend some ppl bash Lexus approximately being rebadged Toyotas. yet they seem to be a approaches from that (apart from ES). The physique panels and each little thing is thoroughly differnt. Lexus is going in a distinctive course and desire to be seen plenty extra of a ideal luxurious vehicle maker. playstation i observed that the FLaming Raven is a substantial time lexus hater. properly he desires to comprehend that they don't seem to be in simple terms rebadged toyotas and that they are completely distinctive. Haters gonna hate lol

I ve owned a lexus from 1995 thru 2000 and it was the best built car I'd ever purchased. Granted Mercedes used to build great cars till the merger with Chrysler but I wouldnt recommend one because of maintainence and upkeep. Heck oil changes for one cost around $60 versus $40 with full sythetic on a lexus. The quality put into Lexus is impeccable they are near perfect as Lexus old motto stated "The passionate pursuit of perfection". How many American car makers can say that. Get the Lexus you wont be sorry...... Not to mention if you properly maintain it you will have a car that wil outlast many cars on the road and wont cost you a fortune to do so.... Proud lexus owner!

mercedes.
the mercedes has carried out its name as a high class car. it has more safety options than a lexus and it has better retail. when you get in an acciendent, the lexus will be easily salvaged. my mercedes (s430) has a really sturdy frame and its engine is so sporty. the lexus may look sporty, but it is bland. it has no spice and it isn't as reliable as other people say it is. mercedes will drive up to 200,000 miles easily. my mercedes right now is up to 120,000 and still going. eventhough the maintainence is a little bit more pricey that the lexus, a couple of bucks wouldnt hurt. the e class has been awarded as one of the safest cars on the road. has lexus earned that title? i think not. there is a reason why people come back and buy mercedes. it has kept its retail value and it will always have the credibility of a high society car.

Lexus. I own a repair shop that specializes in European repairs. When we have customers that are looking to upgrade their vehicles & go newer we tell them Lexus. Now the only thing that I do not like about the ES300 is that it is front wheel drive - the GS300 is rear wheel drive. As far as engine & maintenance Lexus surpasses Mercedes. I can not tell you how many Lexus vehicles I have seen w/ way over 200,000 miles w/ original engine & transmission.

Mercedes parts are EXPENSIVE and you can only get parts from mercedes. My dad had one. It is a nice ride, but like I said repairs are a fortune and difficult to find someone to work on the car.
Lexus is an expensive toyota. Toyotas are known to be long lasting. I have one with 165,000 miles and it is running great. We just got rid of our old toyota with 247,000 miles. We change the oil every 3-4000 miles and I am good to go. And repairs, easy...PepBoys or any other mechanic carries all the parts.
Good Luck. I would go witht the lexus.

In general Lexus is more reliable than Mercedes. The ES300 shares the same engine as the Camry V6 which is known to be one of the most reliable and easy to maintain cars on the planet. If I were you I'd also look at a 2002 Camry V6 in either SE or XLE trim. Camry will save you a few thousand dollars over the ES which is basically the same car. IMO the leather is nicer on the XLE Camry than on the ES. Or if your willing to pay the same amount of money you could go for a newer Camry with less miles.

i am not a car expert but from what i do know of these cars, the mercedes will always have a better resale value and holds up better than the lexus.. go onto kelley blue book.. go under it as if you own both cars and put in all the options and see what prices they come up with,
also it could be that whomever owned the lexus took better care in terms of maintenence and is better condition than the mercedes.. check them out with a mechanic.., nbot the mechanic from the dealer,., u can usually get one to go with you for 50-100 bucks,,. but it saves you in the long run if you dont have to pay to have them fixed!!
good luck they are both beautiful cars!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, LEXUS!!!. Our '91 LS 400 went probably 300,000 until we sold it....I say probably, because the odometer stopped at about 280,000, but the speedometer still worked! Maintenance is more reasonable than a comparable Merc. Driving comfort is incomparable. Practically everything works for as long as you own the car. And resale value is up there. Can't say much about the ES 300 but since it's made by the same company, the quality is quite likely in the "genes". Good luck.

Lexus...they drive more sturdily and if you ever needed replacement parts in the future, it would be less difficult to find a local dealer.
