The highest mileage on a Lexus I've seen (original engine, original transmission, original everything) was 550,000 miles. But it was also well-taken care of. I would say average is about 300,000 miles. I'm not totally 100% sure though, but Lexus' are great cars.

Lexus quality has been slipping lately. My '99 model Rx300 with just 60K miles (less than 10k miles/year) has had over 8k worth of repairs already - and transmission still leaks oil. Dealership said it was not worth fixing the problem. The warranty does not cover oil leaks.
My next car will not be a Lexus for sure.

Lexus is purely the upscale version of a Toyota, and you will assume one to final as long as any Toyota would. Realistically, 2 hundred,000 miles would be with regard to the traditional for any import motor vehicle. A 9 twelve months previous motor vehicle with a hundred and forty,000 miles on it is going to final yet another few years a minimum of if it rather is been nicely dealt with. - Stuart

personally i always lease meaning i always have cars for 3 years. i leased the ES300 back in 2002 and it worked perfectly for 3 years without a single problem. so i know for sure for 3 years it's perfect. my cousin has a 2000 GS300 and he has very very minor little problems with it, it drives like it's totally new. In 7 years the worst problem he had with it was the break wasn't working so good like last year and he realized the breaks weren't working and got it fixed.

i bought my first lexus 1994, it was a used 93 LS400 with 36k miles, i sold it to my cousin when i hit 80k miles. he sold it to his brother in law when he hit 130k, his brother in law gave it to his son in college. now the car has over 300k miles. after 2 accidents, the car has white hood and a black quarter panels but its still running better most cars with 100k miles. mpg is in the low teens though :)

2 or 300,000 miles with regular maintenance. Few people keep a car that long though.

my mom has a 1998 rx-300, and it is still in great quality, and we are passing it on to my sister when she gets her licens in a year because of its great reliabilty. lexus's are great cars in quality, looks, and lots more.
