Several years ago I anticipated financial troubles. Called the car loan company to give them a heads up. They said they couldn't help me until AFTER I was late on payments. Finally...I was late. Lost my job, just couldn't pay. I told them they were welcome to take the car. The original loan was $12 K and I had paid off all but $3K. They wanted to settle. I had no $$ to settle with. I took the car to Carmaxx and it only appraised for $600. Not enough for the pay off. Here's where it gets unusual, as far as I'm concerned ....after the appraisal they weren't interested in repossessing it.....and they never have. It's been two years! Is that strange?? Meantime, about a year and a half ago shortly after all this took place I stopped driving it because gas was so expensive and I was broke. (It's an SUV). It's been sitting in my yard and doesn't run. I don't have the title because I didn't pay it off. I'm moving out-of-state in one month and need to get rid of it legally.

in a car, i need:
- all wheel drive/front wheel drive in order to drive safely in snow,
- practical car, good gas mileage,
- small, no suvs
- luxurious yet inexpensive... and definitely unique/nice-lookin/make-people-jealous, yah know

what are my options??
im thinking jaguar x type, nissan maxima, infinity g35, bmw 325... ideas, anyone?? thanks, guys!!

I am married and have a 2004 chevy cavalier 2 door coupe. I am having a baby and I need more space to put my baby as well as a carseat, stroller, and diaper bag. I also need a safer car, because cavaliers are poorly made. I am also considering the fact that my husband is deploying and I will need space for groceries and other things. My husband thinks it is ok to tote my baby around in my small cavalier. What do you think???

I and my boyfriend bought a car together. (he is a co-signer). But when we signed the agreement with dealership, I didn't know that he was cheating on me. I paid all the down payment. He hasnt pay for a penny.

He told me after we signed the agreement. he and a girl were driving my car too... I really don't wanna pay for the loan... it's not fair to me.

Do I still have to pay for the loan? any way that i don't need to pay? I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!

Why is it that Kelly Blue Book gives a different value to any vehicle depending on who's selling the car Private Seller / Dealer? I want to sell my vehicle but I want to sell it for the dealer price, am I wrong for wanting more money? If I sell it at the dealer price I can make an additional $1000 - $2000 on the deal.
