We are in England or could be Ireland. We know nothing about boats but wonder if the lifestyle would suit us. We wonder about the costs involved, doctors, poll tax, where do you get rid of your household rubbish. where does the fresh water come from - we know absolutely nothing, so all you can tell us would be much appreciated.

I am looking for an interior for my boat. Prefer grey. Do you have a boat just sitting there with nice interior that you would get rid of? Or do you know of a boat salvage yard in Wisconsin? Or want a project boat taken off your hands? If so E-mail me with pics or answers. Thanks for all your help. richmarvinlb@yahoo.com

Trying to get an idea of what it will costs to dry dock and those services and fee's related only to dry docking for a 40 foot glass sailboat.

I understand dry docking costs may very between yards, but what can I expect for an average to use for planning a budget.

I am not asking about the direct cost of repairs for those materials and services to the boat it self just dry docking services such as, haul out/in and stroage etc.

Thanks.

The particular boat I'm looking for information on looks like a Zodiac "inflatable," but this is all (including air chambers) metal construction. I know it's being used in/around Baghdad.

Would really appreciate the name of the manufacturer and model if possible.

I have a 140 Johnson and it stalls at high speed and sets the temperature buzzer going.I wonder if the water works could be fowled up or partial blockage. i am cofused as to what the tell tale is telling me and if it is showing me that the water is actually passing over the upper pistons as well, keeping them cool, or just that the impeller is working, but not actually circulating throughout the motor.Another heating or stalling problem may come from the oil mixture and if it is correct....I have been going close to 80 to 100 to 1. I seem to remember some thing like 40 to 1, but that seems a lot. The confusing part is that the 2 hp Evinrude that i have runs on 100:1 but I admit ,has the normal spark plug .When i set the throttle on the 140 at 3/4 speed I have no apparent problem. As aa seperate query ,I recently had the heads removed on the 140 and would like to know the pressure that the head bolts should be tightened to after the run in time. Thanks for your participation , Ed.
