We bought a boat off of craigslist (like ebay but local and no selling fees) and were given the impression that the title would be arriving in a few days. Now the people are ignoring my emails...the phone number they put on the Bill of Sale agreement is incorrect. I have tried calling their local police (Sherman, TX) who told me its a civil matter...have to go through the Texas Department of Parks & Wildlife...called them all week...only got voicemail. I called my local police (Dallas area) and they cant help me either. I just either want the boat titled or off of my property. Any advice? Can I resell this without a title? I am asking in hopes that someone out there knows...I feel sick over this.

Thanks ahead of time for those who are helpful.

Just came back from a trip to Raystown lake in the rain had a couple scary moments driving, such as the front brakes locking up and then having no steering, which was pretty exciting, and also had the pleasure of experiencing hydroplaing at about 60 mph ,which was also exciting to say the least, was wondering if maybe I have too much trailer tounge weight and if so how do you change this?

I have an 18 1/2 ft. Kenner center console w/ 115hrp. 2st. Engine. 36 gallon tank. I know that weather and swells may vary but generrally how far out or how deep is too much when fishing the bay area in Port Aransas Tx. I don't know much about the ocean but I have had my share of rough deep sea fishing trips that have made me want to never go out again but the deck hands seemed not be phased a bit.

I have an 85 HP outboard engine on my boat. This is my first boat and since I live in Michigan it gets very cold in the winters. I have been told that I need to winterize all of my machines. The only other thing I know is it is somthing to do with antifreeze. Can anyone tell me what exactly I need to do? I also a have an ATV, weed wacker and lawn mower that I am assuming need to be winterized. Any one have any idea how to go about this? Thanks

My husband and I own a 2005 Nissan Sentra & paid around $15,200 for it. Turns out we got screwed by the dealership and now we need to get rid of it. The thing is, we are still working on the down payment, Would any dealership, other than the one we bought it from or just a regular person want to buy it? We're offering $12,500 for it and someone would need to take up the payments or get it re-financed.

The products are several consepted models of kinetek powered propulsion boats, that has already been prototyped and exceed the expected projected speed. Internationally, western products have already been in the market long before my concept was offered for production to some potential partners. However, Financial matters has always been the subject of discussions, even though the whole concept was offered along with everything from manufacturing to business application. The whole concept guaranties not only profits. it also pose as a potential replacement for those paddle powered kayaks and the likes in the near future. aside from being regarded as unsinkable, it promises to be loved by those who would own any of the faetured models. NOTE! this is not a claim nor boasting any claims. if my government or any government will help me realize and produce my product, I would commit myself in developing them dedicatedly. NO OIL, NO GAS. NO JOKE... email me! proinvent_46@yahoo.com

Recently I was riding my jet sky in a 5 mph zone. A Police officer stop me and issue a ticket for riding it over the limit of 5 mph in a 5 mph max zone. I contested the ticket in court. I essentially state that he didn’t have a radar, so he could not possibly knew what my speed was (needless to say I was riding at 5 or 6 mph). He said that he did not need a radar to knew I was navigating over 5 mph because, quote, “when a vessels goes over 5 mph It makes waves and does not “glide” on the water, and the jet sky was making waves”. He asserted to that he knew that for a fact, because of some training he took that teach him that. My question is. Is that can be true? Can a Police officer can be train to spot a vessel that is going over 5 mph just by looking at it, without a speed radar? Keep in mind that he said I was riding at 10 mph? The law here states that he “can or may” (not must) use a speed radar to measure the speed. Needles to say I lost the contest and was order to pay the ticket, but I plan to appeal.
